Vocabulary for Competitive Examination
VOCABULARY INTRODUCTION:
The major filtering element of any competitive examination is vocabulary. Of course, it is the stumbling block of many test takers. It is not an overnight job to get command or vocabulary. Therefore, one should work hard on vocabulary strategies and able to face the test confidently.

Vocabulary means (one's) stock of words That means the number of words that one on the competitive examinations.

Head words and options
In this type a head word is followed by four or five options. The candidate has to pick up the right synonym or antonym for the head word as asked in the question.

Contextual usage:
A sentence is given with a word underlined blooded or italicized in it. The candidate is asked to choose a synonym or antonym for it from the options suggested.
Example: The injection laws given to the patient to alleviate the pain
