Future simple tense is used to express
The simple future tense is used to express an action which takes place in future.
Example:
I shall meet him tomorrow.
They will sell his car.
NOTE:
Will is used with second and third persons (He, she it, and they)
Be + going to is used to express the likelihood of the action and intension.
It is going to rain (Likelihood)
He is going to build a house.
Future continuous tense is used to express
The future continuous tense represents an action going on at some point in future time |
I shall be waiting for you then. |
When I go home, my children will be reading. |

The future continuous tense is also used to indicate future events that are planned |
We shall be staying in Mumbai till Sunday. |

Future perfect tense is used to express
The future perfect tense is used to represent as action which will be completed by a certain future time. The tense often occurs with “by” and “before”.
- By next week I shall have been here for ten years.
- The will have reached Hyderabad before the strike begins.
Future perfect continuous tense is used to express
The future perfect continuous tense indicates an action which is in progress over a period of time that will end in the future.
- By next month we shall have been working in this college for nine years.
- They will have been living here for five years by the end of the month.
